Gianluigi Ricuperati (Turin, 1977) is an essayist and contributor to the cultural pages of some of the most important Italian newspapers. He has published Il mio impero è nell'aria (Minimum Fax), his first novel, La tua vita in 30 comode rate (Laterza), Fucked Up (Rizzoli) e Viet Now – La memoria è vuota (Bollati Boringhieri). He edited with Marco Belpoliti the issue of Riga dedicated to Saul Steinberg. In 2007 and 2008, together with Stefano Boeri, directed Festarch, the international festival of architecture in Cagliari. In 2009, with Stefano Boeri and Fabrizio Gallanti, co-artistic director of Urbania, International Festival of Urban Planning in Bologna.
